FUELING YOUR FITNESS

At Metrics Fitness Lab, nutrition isn’t about strict diets or short-term fixes.

It’s about building simple, sustainable habits that work in the real world.

Our approach is designed as a complete system of support — starting with education, progressing into structure and accountability, and offering personalized plans that meet you wherever you are. Because the truth is, most people don’t fail from lack of effort — they fail from lack of clarity and consistency.

On average, Americans gain about five pounds per year — not because they aren’t trying, but because life slowly pulls them off track. Busy schedules, travel, stress, and inconsistency add up over time. So before we ever talk about aggressive fat loss, we first help clients build a solid foundation. We teach what balanced, sustainable eating actually looks like and help them clean up the basics. Often, that alone leads to an initial drop in weight during the first few weeks.

From there, the goal isn’t constant dieting — it’s learning how to hold onto those wins.

NUTRIIO MEAL PLAN

Every training client begins with our 21-Day Jumpstart. Developed by our expert dietitian Amanda Spies, it provides the essential foundation you need to align your eating with the work you do in the Lab.

This is a simple, practical foundation that teaches you what healthy eating actually looks like day to day — without complicated rules or restrictive dieting.

You’ll receive a printed packet (also available as a PDF) that includes:

  • • clear food guidelines and meal structure

  • • hydration targets

  • • protein recommendations

  • • protein bar and shake suggestions

  • • dining-out strategies

  • • dessert and alcohol guidance

  • • a cardio plan to support conditioning and fat loss

The goal is to remove guesswork and build momentum fast.

While there are no formal check-ins, there is built-in accountability. During training sessions, we regularly ask about nutrition and progress so you stay aware, consistent, and supported.

6 WEEK GET FIT CHALLENGE

The 6-Week GET FIT Challenge is a high-accountability, group-based transformation phase that runs one to two times per year. This is not standard training. This is a structured, start-and-finish-together commitment where everyone locks in at the same time and pushes toward measurable results.

This phase is built around accountability, structure, and momentum.

Participants receive:

  • Two group meetings

  • Weekly check-ins

  • Weekly challenges

  • A visible Challenge Board to track progress over the full six weeks

  • Structured homework (cardio releases, specific exercises, targeted movement work)

  • Workout challenges built directly into the program

  • Ongoing motivation and support

  • Community accountability from others in the challenge

  • Prize opportunities for top performers and challenge winners

Everything is designed to create pressure in the right direction — toward consistency, execution, and results.

The environment matters. During the challenge, participants band together. They encourage each other, compete in a healthy way, track progress publicly, and hold each other accountable. That shared energy is intentional. It creates momentum most people cannot generate alone.

With tighter structure and stronger oversight, this is where clients commonly lose 10–15 pounds or several percentage points of body fat in six weeks. This is a limited-time, live program. It only happens once or twice per year. When it’s over, it’s over until the next start date. Contact Ike to find out when the next Challenge opens.

Bowls of Healthy Foods

Many plans include additional meal choices beyond the minimum.

The plans also include guidance for eating out locally, with recommendations for restaurants such as Acre, Café 123, The Hound, The Botanic, Lucy’s, and others — so clients can stay consistent without avoiding real life.

Plans can be adjusted based on age, sex, weight, activity level, goals, and food restrictions.

These meal plans provide the structure and nutrition framework used inside the Challenge — but without the live accountability, group environment, weekly competitions, check-ins, or prize opportunities that make the 6-Week GET FIT Challenge a unique, limited-time experience.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

TRICIA OLIVER
ART TEACHER & THEATER DIRECTOR

"The most appealing thing about the nutrition program is that it allowed for real life in the middle of hard work. When I opened the packet and saw that there were suggestions for Mexican restaurants, I thought, "I can do this!" The mental work was done for me. All I had to do was follow the recipes or guidelines each week for each meal. I actually couldn't believe how quickly my body responded! In six weeks, I lost 18 lbs, 15.5 total body inches and 2.2% body fat! Unhealthy habits are going, going, gone!"
